Taylor graduated with honors from Georgian College’s Massage Therapy Advanced Diploma Program in 2016 and with honors from Georgian College’s Pre-Health Sciences Program in 2013. She is a registered massage therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and an active member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario.
Taylor is passionate about and has additional education in the areas of perinatal massage, postpartum massage, infant massage, and pelvic health.
Over the years, Taylor has also had a wide-variety of experience in treating tension headaches, migraines, whiplash, temporomandibular joint pain, stress relief, carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome, low back pain, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, tennis elbow, torticollis, motor vehicle accidents, post-surgery, sprains, strains, fractures, fibromyalgia, palliative care, sport injuries, geriatric, cancer and arthritis.
Taylor believes in the importance of continuous education and self-reflection in order to continue to grow as a registered massage therapist. She loves to share her knowledge of the human body with her clients to ensure that they feel empowered and actively involved in their care. Taylor utilizes a combination of assessment, evidence based research, remedial exercises and indicated massage techniques (ranging from Swedish massage techniques, deep fascial techniques, low grade joint mobilizations, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation stretching, and trigger point therapy) to create individualized treatment plans that help you to reach your goals. She also has additional modality training in cupping therapy and hot stone massage.
When she’s not at the clinic, Taylor loves to travel, cook and stay active with hobbies such as yoga, dance classes, swimming, canoeing, SUP boarding, and hiking. She also has an artsy side as she loves music and is actively involved in community theatre.
