During his academic career, Richard served as a university teaching assistant and course coordinator for courses including application of therapeutic exercise, care and prevention of injuries and human dissection anatomy. He also provided on field medical coverage, along with pre and post competition rehabilitation at Brock University and Ridley College.

Richard has continued to further his education through coursework in dry needling, acupuncture and advanced manual therapy skills. Most recently, Richard has attained the highest Manual Physiotherapy Certification in Canada, when he earned his Diploma in Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).

Richard always makes sure to identify, as well as clearly explain, the root cause of his client’s symptoms. His goal is to ensure his clients clearly understand the cause of their symptoms so he can work with them to develop a client focused plan with the goal of getting back to their everyday lives whether it be returning to sports, work, or daily activities.

When not in the clinic, look outdoors and you’ll find Richard outdoors cycling, kayaking, playing baseball, golfing, and camping.
